The Nantucket Inn

In this Rendering Project for JTB Furniture, I was tasked with developing custom furniture designs and creating high-quality renderings for their client, the Nantucket Inn hotel. The hotel had  an order with JTB Furniture for several key furniture pieces but didn’t have finalized designs. I stepped in to bridge the gap by creating detailed conceptual designs for a series of items, including a nightstand, headboard, bed base, desk, and appliance cabinet.

The project required not only designing each piece from scratch but also ensuring that the furniture aligned with the hotel’s aesthetic and functional needs.

Once the designs were finalized, I produced realistic 3D renderings that showed each piece individually, as well as how the items worked together in the room. These renderings used real room dimensions and specifications, allowing both JTB Furniture and the Nantucket Inn to visualize the full layout before the manufacturing process began. By demonstrating how each piece fit spatially and aesthetically, the client could confidently approve the designs.

• Three-Drawer Chest: This piece features a flat marble top, round handles, and short, slightly splayed legs. The cerused oak finish adds a touch of rustic elegance, perfect for a coastal-themed setting.
• Nightstand: Square-shaped with an open lower shelf, finished in cerused oak. This piece provides a light and airy feel, ideal for a relaxed, beach-inspired atmosphere.
• Desk & Appliance Combo Unit: A clear marble tabletop supported by two legs on one side and an appliance storage compartments on the other, including two drawers. The combination of cerused oak and marble creates a sophisticated and functional workspace.

This project showcases my ability to deliver a complete end-to-end solution—from conceptual design to detailed renderings—while working within the specific parameters of a hospitality setting. My work not only helped the Nantucket Inn visualize their new rooms but also provided JTB Furniture with a clear path forward in manufacturing the custom pieces, ensuring that both function and style were meticulously integrated.
